Hello Everybody! This blog presents my first documentary as a director. After being a journalist for many years, I decided to continue my job through video. As I was travelling a lot and had a sensibility for Asia, I wrote this film called Yamuna, Water & India.
This project shows how in a great country like Indian Sub-Continent, People try to save what appears to be one of the most polluted river in Asia, if not in the world.
During the three months I spent filming this first part, I met so many great people and most of them asked me this strange question: Why does a French journalist come to India to make a movie on the well-being of Yamuna river?
My answer is simple, India is a country that gives you so much power, with so many wonderful people that it was obvious I would give something back to the country in anyway.
I hope you’ll enjoy watching it as I tried to show real India, the Indians who depend on the river, the beauty of its lands and the magic of its legends.
